Your next target is pretty much in the
direction of the childrens playground, the other side of the
tarmac path. It's another big Horse Chestnut, but not the one
nearest to you. It's the furthest one, down the slope and nearest
the path. Again, the picture above foreshortens the distances but
if you're unsure, look for the one just at the end of the group
of trees ahead. That's what you're aiming for.
A par four, which is eminently gettable
in three. Don't try and do it in two as the trees approaching
the hole are fairly tricky to negotiate. But lay up just down
the slope and leave yourself with a shortish putt. Look out for
the path - it's Out of Bounds and will cost you a shot - in a
tight match it could be crucial.
