THE 2nd WINTER PINEAPPLE

8th FEBRUARY 2004

On Sunday 8th February 2004, the Club held its Second Annual Winter tournament - the Winter Pineapple.

Turnout was low but the round was played in a very fine spirit with the prospect of birthday cake and a Sunday roast on completion.

Conditions were cold and bright, but the Lawn was fairly soggy underfoot. Needless to say there were few other people in the park that morning.

Dave won his first Men's CLFTGC title with an excellent round, and Kate won the Ladies' fruit, throwing a 4 on the long 13th.
